Chefs Blade cares deeply about your privacy. We only process data that we need for (improving) our services and we handle with care all information we have collected about you and your use of our services. We will never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.
This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services accessible via the Chefs Blade website. The effective date of these terms is 05/08/2025. Publishing a new version invalidates all previous versions. This privacy policy explains which data we collect about you, how it is used, and with whom β and under what conditions β it may be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store your data, how we protect it against misuse, and what rights you have regarding the personal data you provide to us.

Webshop Software β Shopify
Our webshop is developed with software from Shopify. Personal data you provide to us for the purpose of our services is shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, but will never use your data for any other purpose. They are contractually obliged to implement appropriate security measures. Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software but does not collect or store personal data.
Web Hosting β Strato
We use web hosting and email services from Strato. Strato processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. They may collect metadata about the use of their services, but this does not contain personal data. Strato has implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent loss and unauthorised use of your personal data and is bound by confidentiality under the terms of our agreement.
Reviews β Trustpilot
We collect reviews through Trustpilot. If you leave a review via Trustpilot, you must provide your name and email address. Trustpilot shares this data with us so we can link the review to your order. If we invite you to leave a review, we will share your name and email address with Trustpilot for the sole purpose of sending the invitation. Trustpilot is contractually obliged to protect your personal data.
Shipping & Logistics
When you place an order with us, it is our responsibility to ensure your package is delivered to you. We use various shipping companies. This requires us to share your name, address, and city with the various of shipping companies. They use this data solely for the purpose of executing the delivery agreement.
Purpose of Data Processing
We use your data exclusively for our services. This means the purpose of processing is always directly related to the order you place. We do not use your data for targeted marketing. Your data will not be shared with third parties except when necessary for accounting, legal, or administrative purposes.
Data automatically collected by our website β such as your IP address, browser type, and operating system β is used solely to improve our services and does not include personal information.
Cooperation with Tax or Criminal Investigations
In certain cases, Chefs Blade may be legally required to share your data in connection with government tax or criminal investigations. In such cases, we will comply with the law but will oppose any requests that go beyond legal requirements.
Retention Periods
We store your data for as long as you are a customer. If you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services, we will delete your customer profile, which will also be considered a βright to be forgottenβ request. Certain data, such as invoices, must be retained for the legally required period.
